Filthy dirty questionable cleaness hotel condition - Hairs stuck on the bathtub wall

I stayed at this hotel and found hairs on the bathtub wall on the check-out day. My hair color is orange, and the hairs on the wall was long blond and a short black. I attached the pictures I took right before checking out after having been grossed out. If I have known there were hairs stuck on the wall, I would have never stayed at this hotel. At least I would have mentioned it immediately, but unfortunately I am not someone who checked the bathtub and its wall that were covered by a shower curtain unless I need to use the bathtub, and I did not need to use it until the next morning and there those were! I checked out immediately and contacted the online vendor first where I booked a room and made a payment since the front desk person and the Sonesta Corporate agent told me that is what I should do. The online vendor was going to process refund, but they re-contacted me 2 days later stating the hotel manager refused refund. According to the online vendor, the manager, Ty, said they would not refund because I already stayed there and did not bring it up to the front desk for them to do something about it. I contacted the hotel, and the accounting office person told me she would not process refund because I already stayed there overnight. NOBODY INCLUDING ME would have stayed there if known there were hairs covered and hidden by a shower curtain. She asked me to send her an email with pictures and maybe would process partial refund, so I sent her an email. I also contacted the Sonesta Corporate again, and they emailed me back saying they let the hotel manager know. After over a week later after no response, I finally heard back from the hotel manager stating no refund. I contacted the Sonesta Corporate again, and the agent immediately told me to contact the online vendor I used. So I explained him the situation, and he took a note and informed me he would send it to the hotel manager. I told him the previous agent already did, and the hotel manager refused. The agent said the hotel manager has the final say in all refunds, and the Sonesta Corporate would not do anything about it. He said maybe the manager would change his mind so he would still go ahead and resubmit it. One day later, an agent from the Sonesta Coporate responded stating the hotel manager declied the refund request. I feel so disgusted knowing that I stayed at this filthy hotel wondering since there were hairs on the battub, if the bedding sheets and other things were even cleaned. The floor carpet was damp, and I feel so disgusted about everything. I highly question the cleaniess of this hotel and will never used this hotel or any Sonesta and its affiliated hotels.

It's a nice clean hotel in a central location. I believe the location is why the price is high. I've stayed in some really nice places that offered complimentary breakfast, had a bar and a restaurant that was open for dinner. I reserved this room for one price and when I checked in, the price for my ONE NIGHT stay was suddenly $441.00. This price was for a simple 2 bed queen room. Nothing special about it. How about a microwave to go with the refrigerator? For the amount of money that I paid, this is my first time and last time here. PS, my stay didn't revolve around going to the nearby game being played. I came to visit family.

Remarkably average Sonesta. Relatively clean, quiet, priced accordingly. As a business traveler I would have hoped the restaurant to be open for dinner but it was not, hotel staff was friendly and helpful. No major complains or accolades.

This is such a dead hotel with no service, and thieves that lie about fees. I'm a constant traveler, and visited the hotel in September 2022 for 5 days. We traveled to Atlanta and was dropped off in front of the hotel, underneath the canopy. We never parked or asked for parking as we were just getting dropped off. The hotel takes a larger security deposit than most hotels and they made sure to say that they charge $9 per day if I want to park. I told the front desk worker, that I'm not parking. He said if I want to park, all I had to do was to use the key card to open the parking garage and park. I didn't need to park and never did. The hotel was updated but looked old, and the the rooms were not that nice, there was a bad scent in the first room, and the smell of mold and dust in the room we settled in. The bedsheets had stains, and a dusty smell. We sprayed the room with our own cleaning spray. There was a lot of smoking indoors. There were no services offered, and was such a dead hotel, felt creepy like ghosts were there. We left earlier than we planned to leave because of the conveniences. After leaving, the hotel left the pending charge for almost a week before finally charging the bank. I found out that the hotel charged me $45 more than what I was supposed to be charged. I called the hotel to fix the problem, they acted like the price came directly from the booking company Priceline, and I have Priceline's receipt in front of me, but the hotel refused to accept. I called Priceline and they called the hotel. The hotel manager completely lied to the caller at Priceline, and said that they "gave a parking decal" this was a blatant lie because they don't give decals. They also said that they have "camera footage" and the "make and model" of our car. This was not true because I never parked, and was dropped off. The car never once entered the parking deck. The hotel was so desperate to keep the $45 that they lied to the booking company. I can easily go back to my bank and get the whole amount of money back for the stay. I normally don't write reviews because I travel a lot, and it was a bad experience, and to top it off, the hotels stole and lied about it.

Stayed here several times when it was a Courtyard. The facility is getting old and tired, now a Sonesta. Staff was nice enough, but the place is average at best. Showing its age. Recommend this he other Sonesta Galleria, which at least has an outdoor pool.
